Skills Training students are not eligible for federal student aid. The following funding resources are available for eligible students and programs:

Pathways to prosperity scholarship

Must be an Alabama resident
Must intend to register in an eligible short-term credential program that can be completed in two semesters or less and that will lead to in-demand career opportunities in the region in which the community college where the course is taken is located.

Requirements:
- Demonstrate financial need
- Must complete the Post-Completion Survey, with failure to do so resulting in the student’s forfeiture of scholarship and repayment requirement of any funds paid on the student’s behalf.
- Must apply, receive approval, and agree to the scholarship terms and conditions electronically
Restrictions:
- A student may not receive more than one award until one calendar year after completing the short-term credential program for which the prior funds were awarded.
